 This year, we went to K1 Speed in Redmond for some go kart racing. We wentfor the Grand Prix package, which is three rounds, 12 laps practice, then 14 laps qualifying, both of which were time-based scoring and the limiters were set at 25 MPH.  The last lap was 16 rounds, position-based, and they cranked up the limiter to 35 MPH! http://www.k1speed.com/ Take a look at some pictures and the race summary from the Final lap below.
